2:00 PM - 3:15 PMLewis President's RoomCome for a glimpse into the world of Jewish Mysticism, focusing on personal experience and conceptual knowledge. In the first week, we will briefly review Kabbalah's holistic map of the four "worlds" and their corresponding levels of soul. The following four weeks will encourage participants to delve personally into each soul level: embodied, emotional, cognitive, and spiritual.
Our goal is to become more mindful of our inner dimensions and to use our evolving spiritual awareness to live in a way that reflects the highest Jewish ideals of Torah: love, mitzvot, and worship.
Our of respect for the group, participants will be expected to attend at least four out of five sessions and to read Adin Steinsaltz's brief classic introduction, The Thirteen Petalled Rose, prior to the first session, which can be found online.
